HEALTH GOSSIP: Top Fashion Designer Chuks Collins suffers Kidney failure...

Some months ago it was OJB jezreel and now a prominent and promising Nigerian Designer is suffering from Kidney failure.



Chuks, 29yrs, is the brain behind Kholyns Couture, he went into Fashion in 2007 after leaving the Telecom industry despite the income he stood to earn.. He has since been doing very well in the Fashion industry.



According to sources, Chuks was involved in an accident last year when he sustained injuries to his head and legs... Unfortunately, his injuries(those on the leg) were not well managed... Consequently, he developed Cellulitis ( an infection of the deeper parts of the skin caused by a bacterial organism, Beta- Hemolytic Streptococcus)..



Cellulitis occurs commonly in the lower leg and can be very painful due to the probable pain that maybe associated with it... The bacterial organism can migrate to the kidney where it may affect its function leading to Kidney(renal) failure.



The best way to manage kidney failure is via Dialysis or kidney transplant apart from treating the underlying cause.



Chuks has been on dialysis since July this year... His Doctors adviced him to get a kidney transplant as his kidney may fail completely in 2 weeks time... The transplant requires 8million naira to be done.



The Unprecedented situation, has prompted Chuks to appeal to Nigerians to come to his aid. He said, ' Please anything you donate will be appreciated'...
