OMG.. See what 12yr old boy is suffering from..!!

The 12-year-old Mahendra Ahiwar from Madhya Pradesh is suffering from a serious medical condition. The boy cannot keep his head upright or walk. Due to lack of neck muscles, his head keeps hanging at 180 degrees and he can only crawl.

This is a rare medical condition and Mahendra always needs help to eat, wear clothes, use the washroom and most of the routine tasks. His parents Mukesh and Sumitra feel helpless as there has been no diagnosis of their child even after visiting nearly 50 doctors.

They say it is painful to watch their son in such situation and think it is better if he dies.
Mahendra has three siblings and all of them are healthy. According to his parents, he was born healthy as well but by the time he turned 3, his condition deteriorated.

Mukesh Ahiwar told that he can only move his neck in three directions and it is growing longer than average.

Mukesh said he has consulted several doctors and all of them have different opinions about the ailment but none is sure about it. While some say it is polio, others believe it is paralysis.

He told that he also went to AIIMS in Delhi, spending one year of savings, but the doctors failed to diagnose their son.

WORLD HEALTH DAY: Six Food Safety Tips you need while travelling.!

Most of us like travelling for one reason or the other... But while travelling, food is one thing that we should be careful about..

Do we give enough importance as to what is being served in our plate and how safe and hygienic it is?

The theme for World Health Day, which falls on April 7, is SAFE FOOD this year. So, here are a few food safety tips for a traveller:

1) Always try and go for hot and freshly prepared foods rather than choosing frozen meat, cheese and stale foods(in general) as they carry a lot of bacteria.

2) Eat at a place or restaurant that is well-known for good food hygiene practices to ensure safer food choice.

3) Always try and go for bottled water products while travelling, but you should always check the seal to ensure it is intact as not all packaged drinking water is safe.

4) Avoid eating cut fruits as they may carry a lot of infection, instead buy fresh ones and PEEL them yourself and eat.

5) Always wash and sanitise your hands properly while eating out to avoid getting inflicted with infections that may cause food poisoning.

6) Lastly, eat at a place that there are people in it..(Lol--- it speaks confidence).

And don't forget, 'Your Food is your first medicine, and your medicine your first Food...#WorldHealthDay #SafeFood

Doctors tell POPE that he must lose weight..!!

According to Daily Mail, doctors of the Vatican told Pope Francis to cut his pasta intake to two servings a week and take a daily walk, like his predecessor Pope Benedict XVI did.

They are concerned about the sedentary lifestyle of the 78-year-old Catholic leader – who spends much of his time hard at work at his desk or in meetings – as well as his considerable weight gain since he took office two years ago, sources told Italian news agency ANSA.

The Pope's weight is thought to be aggravating his sciatica, a nerve condition which causes back pain.

Francis himself has suggested that he does not expect to live to an old age.

Two weeks ago he told Mexican TV he did not think his papacy would last long.

And on a plane back from South Korea last summer he said that his reign would only last 'a short time, two or three years and then… to the house of the Father.'

Now doctors have told the Catholic leader that he must shed a few pounds as the extra weight is making his sciatica worse, especially when combined with his intense travel schedule.

But the pope who reacted by joking refers to himself as 'the undisciplined one' is taking little heed of their warning, continuing to tuck into a bowl of pasta every day.

(SHOCKING) BABY BORN WITH TWO HORNS...!

According to Saturday Tribune, which published photos of the strange baby, the birth of the baby filled the area with tension.

"It is true the baby was born," the proprietress of the maternity centre spoke to the news platform's reporter who visited the hospital. She only spoke on condition of anonymity.

She said that the woman who gave birth to the deformed baby was "about 25 years old and she has been without a child for three years."

"This woman lives in one of the farm settlements on the outskirt of Ilesa. She registered for antenatal service here. So, when she wanted to put to bed, her relatives rushed her here to deliver the baby.

"But we were shocked to the marrow when she eventually delivered the baby with two horns on the head after going into labour for some hours.

By the time she was delivered of the baby, it was already dead and we had to separate it from the placenta.

"I have never seen such a terrible creature in my life. So, we helped to pack the dead baby and the placenta and handed them over to them before they left our premises. It was indeed a fearful development and we were saddened about it.

"This is not something we can celebrate. So, I ordered by nurses and other attendants to keep their mouth shut over the incident. But, I am very surprised how you people got to know about it and came here to inquire about it. I do not want anyone to make something unnecessary out of this or create problems for us here," she stated.

When asked about the whereabouts of the woman who was delivered of the baby, the proprietress declined to give details.

From the 2nd picture, the baby could have suffered from a type of CROUZON SYNDROME, an autosomal dominant genetic disorder known as a branchial arch syndrome associated with gene mutation.

"If i can't have you, nobody will!" screams Ex-wife as she chops off Lover's Manhood...

A possessive ex-wife allegedly chopped off her former lover's penis shouting "if I can't have you, nobody will."

Hong Shih, 38, a wealthy Chinese businessman, said his ex-wife Fu had asked to meet him to discuss a possible reconciliation, and he agreed because of their three children together.

He said, he was standing in his kitchen making tea explaining that he did not want to get back together after years of arguing.

He claimed that's when she launched the attack.

He said: "I was just wearing loose fitting jogging trousers, and I heard her come up behind me and was shocked when she suddenly pulled down my trousers.

"I turned around and went to pull up my trousers when she leaned forward and before I even knew what she was doing sliced off my penis.

"She told me that she didn't want to see me with somebody else and said 'if I can't have you, nobody will'.

"She then told me 'you should probably go to the hospital now'."

In shock and bleeding, the badly injured man nevertheless gathered the severed organ off the floor, and then ran with it in his hand to the hospital 800 meters from his home in Foshan City in southern China’s Guangdong Province.

Medics managed to reattach the organ after a three-hour operation and with luck he should still be able to use it.

Hong’s wife Fu, 35, then reportedly went on the run but later visited him in hospital where she told him: "Take care of our three kids. I’m going to turn myself in."

Doctors said Hong is in stable condition and will most likely be released by the end of the week.

Man with MASSIVE tumour on face undergoes successful surgery..!!!

Ever seen a person suffering from cancer? If Yes..!! It means you agree with me that its never a good experience.. But to live with it for decades, that's something else.!

A desperate grandfather has had a tumour that weighed a stone and grew to twice the size of his head removed after he walked for three days to seek help.

Sambany revealed that he took on the extraordinary mission after hearing about a brilliant charity that performs medical treatments in some of the poorest nations on earth.

Mercy Ships runs out of an ocean liner that docks in various ports and then opens its doors to offer free, state-of-the-art health care to those in need.

He first developed a swelling in his left cheek that began to grown – eventually becoming almost twice the size of his head.

After arriving at the Mercy Ship, doctors agreed to perform surgery on him and during an incredible 12-hour operation they removed a growth weighing a staggering 16.5lbs.

Sambany told how he needed the procedure, He said:

"My heart is very, very happy.
"I'm just happy.
"I know without surgery I will die.
"I know I might die in surgery, but I already feel dead inside from the way I'm treated.
"I choose to have surgery."
"I'm very happy.

Sambany was delighted after seeing himself in a mirror.

The best treatment for cancer is early detection... Always go for regular medical check up...!!!

Researchers worry about new strain of HIV found in CUBA...!!

There are over 60 HIV-type 1 strains around the world but a new strain of HIV discovered in Cuba is of particular concern to researchers.

It is known as CRF19, the new HIV strain is a combination of the sub-types A, C and D. Known as a recombinant, the new strain developed when an individual contracted several variants of the virus.

It's nothing new to discover recombinant strains of HIV but what is particularly troublesome about CRF19 is its aggressiveness, developing into AIDS in just three years instead of the usual five to 10.

With the speed at which it leads to AIDS, the strain worries researchers because it leaves infected individuals with less time to seek treatment with antiretrovirals. With the infection progressing faster than it should, it's possible that some people might not even realize that they have caught the strain until it's too late.

There's also the general concern that mutated viruses are harder to diagnose. And even when newer strains are diagnosed, the kinds of treatments available might not be suitable for them, providing infected individuals with limited therapy options. It's even possible for a mutated strain like CRF19 to become completely resistant to existing therapies, virtually wiping out any hope a patient might have for getting better.

Researchers have been working on developing vaccines to counter HIV and AIDS but the discovery of a new strain may be considered as a setback because the strain has not been factored into the vaccine's design.

Should a vaccine be successful, it will only work on strains discovered earlier as the vaccine was developed with those in mind. Against newer strains, a successful vaccine may only be partially effective or even be rendered completely useless..

MUST READ.... Woman born with no womb gives birth to Twins...!

A woman born with no reproductive organs who was told she could never have children has given birth to twin girls.

Doctors used hormone therapy to grow a womb, ovaries, and fallopian tubes inside Hayley Haynes, who is from North London.

Ms Haynes, who is now 28, discovered her condition at age 19 after consulting doctors when she did not get any periods despite going through other signs of puberty.

Doctors told her she had been born with XY chromosomes, which made her genetically male.
Mrs Haynes told the Daily Mirror newspaper: “When they told me I had no womb I was so confused I felt sick. My biggest fear was never having children.

“Suddenly a huge piece of my life was missing. I felt like half a woman and was embarrassed. How I was going to tell a guy I was genetically male when I started dating?”
Scans of her body in 2007 revealed that she had a womb measuring millimetres in size inside her, which doctors treated with hormones to enlarge.

After years of treatment she began IVF, which she had to pay for privately at a clinic in Cyprus after the NHS refused to fund her course. The treatment cost £10,500.

Mrs Haynes explained to the newspaper: “I was so nervous. We only had one shot and couldn’t afford to go through it all again. I desperately wanted to be a mother and knew if there were no viable eggs or the implantation wasn’t successful I’d be distraught.

“Of the 13 eggs harvested only two were viable. After they were implanted I spent the rest of our 10 days resting.”

Ultimately both eggs took and she was told she was due to give birth to non-identical twins. She named the two girls Darcey and Avery.

Ms Haynes said she and her husband Sam had “empty wallets” and were “emotionally exhausted” but that they would “do it again in a heartbeat”.

Dr Geetha Venkat, of Harley Street Fertility Clinic, London, described the case as “amazing”.

She explained: “Normally in nature the female hormone oestrogen will help grow the womb. She’s lacking in the hormone, so they gave it to her with the HRT. She’s lucky she was born with the womb remnants.”

JOHESU- We are ready to call off strike IF....

Health workers under the aegis of the Joint Health Sectors Union, JOHESU, Lagos University Teaching Hospital, LUTH branch, last week staged a peaceful protest over what they described as government insensitivity to their demands even as they expressed willingness to call of the strike should the Federal Government release the much expected circular on
their demands.

Addressing a large number of health workers bearing placards with inscriptions such as, 'save the lives of Nigerian masses,' 'FG correct injustice in Nigeria health sector,' at the premises of the hospital, the Chairman, Senior Staff Association of Universities, Teaching Hospitals, Research Institutes and Associated Institutions, SSAUTHRIAI, Kehinde
Adegoke said the Union is ready to shift grounds but insincerity on the part of those representing the Federal Government is the major cause of the setback in the quick resolution of the crisis.

"Those that are negotiating on behalf of government are not sincere in the arrangement. We have been on this struggle since 2nd November 2014 and the last time we held meeting with the Federal Government which is on the 22nd December, 2014 they promised that in the next two weeks they will address our issue, it is more than two weeks now we are yet to
receive any circular."

"We know that President Jonathan is having tough time clamouring for vote, but we are urging him to ascend to our demand so as to continue in the business of saving the lives of Nigerians," he added.

Corroborating his views, Chairman, National Association of Nurse and Mid wife, LUTH Branch, Mr. Oluwagbenga Ajala, however, warned that if labour disputes, which has led to the breakdown of health services in about 50 federal health institutions in the country are not addressed, the Federal Government may meet a collapsed sector after the February
elections.

"We are asking that they promote our members who have been stagnated for 14 years on a level. We are asking that health workers wage structure be reviewed. We cannot be rubbished by any group in this sector because we form more than 70 per cent of the work force in the health sector.

"We are asking that the Federal Government address needless deaths in its hospitals and put an end to this strike before the elections.

Members of JOHESU embarked on an indefinite strike on October 16 to protest non-implementation of collective bargain agreement and Memorandum of Understanding it had with the Federal Government.

GOOD NEWS: Nigeria will be declared Polio-free in January...!!!

I will like to wish you a Happy New Year. Welcome to 2015, the Year of Change and Tremendous Possibilities... Oh Yesss.. This Year will be great...!!!

Despite all the Ups and Downs of 2014, I strongly believe 2015 will be a better year for our country and her people... To begin this wonderful year is a good news...

According to DailyTimesNG, The Minister of Health, Dr Halliru Alhassan disclosed that Nigeria will be certified polio-free this January.

He said this while speaking to newsmen in Sokoto while reviewing some of the activities of his ministry in 2014.

According to him, no case of polio has been recorded in the country in the last six months, and this qualifies the country to be declared polio-free in line with global requirements.

"This is because only six cases of the wild polio virus were recorded in the last six months in Kano and Jigawa states.

" This feat is a remarkable departure from the nearly 52 WPV cases the country recorded during the same period under review in 2013.

"With this happy development, we are optimistic that Nigeria will be completing the six months required to be declared polio-free by this month," the minister said.

" The country has indeed made tremendous progress in ensuring the total eradication of polio and it would be sustained.

" The Federal Government would sustain these successes; we have eradicated Ebola and Guinea worm, and polio is on the verge of becoming history in Nigeria," he added.

He further expressed happiness that the nation was recording massive reduction in maternal mortality through the support of the Millennium Development Goals.

WOW.....!!! CAN YOU DO THIS????

To be frank i didn't believe these pictures were real. They look more like cartoons especially the one above...

Her real name is Julia but also known as Zlata. She has several awards and holds world records for her awesome abilities... she is the world bendiest woman....
These incredible photos reveal how world's bendiest woman contorts herself inunbelievable shapes in her 2015 calendar.

Russian-born Zlata twists herself into the most extreme poses imaginable wearing a slinky skin-tight gold jumpsuit.

Medically, Flexibility or limberness refers to the absolute range of movement in a joint or series of joints, and length in muscles that cross the joints to induce a bending movement or motion.

Flexibility varies between individuals, particularly in terms of differences in muscle length of multi-joint muscles. Flexibility in some joints can be increased to a certain degree by
exercise. However, there are other pathological causes of hyperflexibilty; a good example being Ehler's Danlors Syndrome....

Zlata is really talented... SOME MEN BE WISHING...
